Mainline Submarine Hose with Collars

As an important oil hose in the marine industry, the submarine hose is suitable for use in connecting with subsea manifolds, and main submarine pipelines fitted in the hose strings on the single buoy mooring system. This subsea hoses are available with single carcass and double carcass design.

Structure
  • Primary carcass inner lining: smooth, oil- and fuel-resistant seamless extruded NBR.
  • Secondary carcass: specially designed to prevent defects or damage caused by accidental tearing or surface damage to the primary liner
  • Reinforcement: multiple layers of high tensile textile cord, with one embedded steel wire helix
  • Inner tube cover: smooth black oil-resistant synthetic rubber.
  • Outer cover: smooth black synthetic rubber, resistant to abrasion, oil, seawater and sunlight, with a spiral orange stripe
  • Floating medium (single/double carcass): closed cell foam
  • Flange: ASME B16.5 Class 150 or Class 300 weld neck flange, with flat face (FF) or raised face (RF), depending on the requirements

Standards
Our submarine hoses are designed and manufactured in accordance with OCIMF standard, and are certified by ISO 9000:2001 quality management system.

Specifications (All tests are conducted according to GMPHOM 2009 and customer specifications.)
  • Working pressure: suitable for operation at an internal pressure from -0.85 bar up to the rated working pressure.
  • Flow velocity: The hose lining is made of elastomer and fabric and is suitable for continuous operation at a flow velocity of 21m/s.
  • Applications: transfer of crude oil and liquid petroleum products (working temperature: -20°C to 82°C; aromatic hydrocarbon content not exceeding 50%)
  • Electrical continuity: low-resistance connection provided by the copper wire and helical steel wire

Features
Buoy system: the sea chest is connected to the buoy.
Leak detection system: the detector responds when in the event of primary carcass failure and alerts the operators to remove damaged hose, preventing further damage or pollution.
Rated working pressure: 15, 19 or 21 bar
Safety factor: 5:1
Electrical continuity: electrically continuous
