Reducing floating hose is specially constructed to realize reliable connection of mainline hoses with large diameters and rubber oil hose with small diameters.

Reducing Floating Hose Testing
During the production, the marine floating hose can be tested according to either the GMPHOM 2009 quality standards or the standards specified by the customer, ensuring high safety and performance of marine hoses for using in the marine environment.

• Primary carcass inner lining: smooth, oil- and fuel-resistant seamless extruded NBR.
• Secondary carcass: specially designed to prevent defects or damage caused by accidental tearing or surface damage to the primary liner
• Reinforcement: multiple layers of high tensile textile cord, with one embedded steel wire helix
• Inner tube cover: smooth black oil-resistant synthetic rubber.
• Outer cover: smooth black synthetic rubber, resistant to abrasion, oil, seawater and sunlight, with a spiral orange stripe
• Floating medium (single/double carcass): closed cell foam
• Flange: ASME B16.5 Class 150 or Class 300 weld neck flange, with flat face (FF) or raised face (RF), depending on the requirements

4. The tail hose and the mainline hose are connected by flanges.
5. The lifting lugs are capable of withstanding loads, with minimum breaking loads of 100 kN for 12 in., 150 kN for 16 in., and 200 kN for 20 in.
6. Rated working pressure: 21 bar
7. Leak detection system: the detector responds in the event of primary carcass failure and alerts the operators to remove damaged hose, preventing further damage or pollution.
